Endolift is a minimally invasive laser skin tightening treatment that uses advanced laser fibre technology to stimulate collagen production, tighten loose skin and reduce small pockets of unwanted fat without the need for surgery. Commonly performed on the lower face, jawline, neck and under the chin, Endolift helps improve skin laxity, redefine facial contours and create a firmer, more lifted appearance. As the treatment works by stimulating your body’s natural healing response, mild swelling, tenderness and bruising are normal and collagen production will continue for several months following treatment. For the safest recovery and the best possible results, please follow the aftercare guide below.
What to expect
Mild swelling, redness and tenderness are common for several days after treatment.
Bruising may occur and can take 1–2 weeks to resolve.
A feeling of tightness beneath the skin is normal as healing begins.
Initial improvements may be visible within a few weeks, with collagen production continuing for up to 6 months.
First 24 hours
Keep the treated area clean and avoid touching or rubbing unnecessarily.
Avoid applying makeup to the treated area for at least 24 hours unless advised otherwise.
Apply a cool compress if recommended by your practitioner to help reduce swelling.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise for at least 48 hours.
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot baths and excessive heat for 48 hours.
Sleep on your back with your head elevated for the first few nights to help minimise swelling.
For the next 2 weeks
Avoid facial treatments including chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments and facial massage unless approved by your practitioner.
Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 daily and avoid excessive sun exposure.
Stay well hydrated and maintain a healthy diet to support collagen production and healing.
Follow any additional advice provided by your practitioner, including wearing a compression garment if recommended.
Area-specific aftercare
If your jawline or lower face has been treated, avoid placing prolonged pressure on the area and try not to rest your chin on your hands.
If your neck has been treated, avoid tight collars or clothing that may rub against the skin.
If your under-chin area has been treated, sleep with your head elevated to help reduce swelling during the first few nights.
Mild numbness or tightness beneath the skin can occur and usually improves as healing progresses.
