Your Step-by-Step Home Care Guide
Marionette line filler is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment that uses hyaluronic acid dermal filler to soften the lines that extend from the corners of the mouth towards the chin, often creating a downturned or tired appearance. These lines naturally become more prominent as collagen, elastin and facial volume decrease with age. By carefully restoring lost volume and support, dermal filler helps lift the corners of the mouth, smooth deep creases and create a more youthful, refreshed appearance while preserving natural facial expression. Mild swelling, tenderness and bruising are common following treatment and will gradually improve as the filler settles into the surrounding tissue. For the safest recovery and the best possible results, please follow the aftercare guide below.
What to expect
Mild swelling, tenderness and redness around the injection sites are common for 24–72 hours.
Small bumps can occur and usually settle as the product integrates.
Bruising is possible and may last up to 7–14 days.
Final results typically settle over 1–2 weeks.
First 24 hours
Keep the area clean. Avoid touching or pressing the treated area.
Avoid makeup on the treated area for 12 hours (or longer if advised).
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid heat exposure (sauna/steam room/hot yoga/sunbeds) for 48 hours.
Sleep on your back where possible and avoid pressure on the treated area.

For the next 2 weeks
Avoid facial treatments (massage, micro-needling, lasers, peels) on the area unless cleared by your practitioner.
Avoid excessive sun/UV exposure and always wear SPF.
Avoid dental work for 2 weeks where possible (or let us know if it’s urgent).

Take care when eating—avoid very hard/chewy foods for the first 24 hours.
